I grew up a couple of blocks from Bob.  Probably one of the nicest guys you ever would meet. I went to Holmes Elementary with him from K-3rd grade.  The boundary lines were moved and I had to go to Eliot and I'm not sure if he followed or if his parents were given the transfer that allowed him to stay at Holmes.  Met up with Bob again in middle school and then for a time at Edison High School.  Bob always had a kind word for everyone he came into contact with.  I wish I had been more like him in my younger years. RIP Buddy.  Gone way too soon.

Bob did transfer to Eliot. He was a neighbor on Madison Ave. He loved Roger Staubach and the Cowboys. Despite more than his share of life's misfortunes, he was always very kind and good natured.
